from picas to pixels

I’ve been working (and evolving) as a designer for many years and still love it. From graphic design to experiential and UX design, my curious mind never stops exploring. It’s so satisfying to work with clients and teams to come up with highly-functional, human-centered design solutions that work. No ego. Just creative problem-solving.

Growing up on a farm, I’ve always considered myself a humble farm dog—a DIY-loving, independent spirit who works hard whenever duty calls and whose survival depends on being innovative. That led me to start my own design studio with a focus on “user experience” design before I knew what that meant. It’s at the core of who I am. Now that I’ve lived in cities longer than on the farm, I’m a city dog too, but the values of community, inclusion and looking out for one another remain the same.

jack of all trades. master of some.

I am super excited to have my flag firmly planted in UX Design (with a side of UX Research), but I have a big toolkit of other skills. In addition to graphic design and experiential design, I also have experience in service design, designing support tools for neurodiverse users, photography, retouching, video editing and 3D design.
